The DrARTEX VibroBarrier 7+ is a premium, multi-layered material with a thickness of 7.0 mm, representing the best sound insulation product in the lineup. This updated version features an improved heavy layer membrane based on butyl-rubber mastic, designed specifically to provide an incredible 36 dB sound absorption factor. It offers guaranteed protection against the most demanding noise sources, particularly road noise and tyre noise transmitted through the floor and firewall.

VibroBarrier 7+ is a heavy-layer, multi-material composite engineered to dampen both vibration and airborne noise. It is highly effective at blocking low-frequency road resonance and is the go-to solution for achieving maximum cabin silence. The material is durable, does not decay, and is specially designed to resist moisture absorption, ensuring long-term performance even on vehicle floors. It maintains stability across a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to +90°C.

Materials

VibroBarrier 7+ features a complex, multi-layered structure consisting of a non-woven fabric layer with a PPE (Polypropylene) component, a heavy layer membrane based on high-density butyl-rubber mastic for superior noise blockage, and elastic foamed polyethylene for additional cushioning and sound absorption. The material is secured by a final synthetic butyl rubber adhesive layer for application.
