DrARTEX Baffle Plus Zima is a high-performance, specialized 12.0 mm thick sound and heat insulation material developed specifically for vehicles operating in regions with extremely high temperatures and intense solar radiation. Its multi-layer composition features an Aluminium Foil top layer and a dense thermal barrier, providing the maximum possible level of heat insulation and effective sound reflection.
This heavy-duty insulator is designed to serve a dual purpose: blocking sound waves and actively protecting the cabin from heat soak caused by the sun. With a mass of 4.1 kg/m², Zima provides superior thermal stability and structural rigidity, boasting a high melting point of 140°C. Its unique composition ensures the highest possible resistance to radiant heat transfer, making it an essential barrier for roof applications.
Solar Reflectance. The external Aluminium Foil layer is critical for reflecting solar radiation, ensuring a cooler cabin temperature and reducing the load on your vehicle’s air conditioning system.
Baffle Plus Zima features a five-layer construction: a durable Aluminium Foil top, a heavy noise insulation membrane, a specialized termo insulation/absorption acoustic felt, and a reliable 0.6 mm synthetic butyl rubber adhesive layer. This design allows it to perform effectively from -40°C to +100°C. Note: Due to the felt layer, this product is not fully water-proof like other Baffle materials.
