Lace 15

DrARTEX Lace (15 mm) is the thicker, higher-performance variant of the acoustic foam line, boasting a 15.0 mm thickness. It is a specialized, open-cell sound absorber featuring short chain formed liquid polymer saturated polyurethane foam (latex impregnation). This increased thickness drastically improves its ability to capture and neutralize airborne noise and echo, making it extremely effective at improving acoustic clarity and enhancing the performance of car audio systems across a wide frequency spectrum, particularly in the lower-mid range where thicker material is most beneficial.

This material excels at converting sound energy into heat, virtually eliminating standing waves and reverb within enclosed spaces like door cavities and under the roof skin. Despite its substantial thickness, Lace (15 mm) maintains excellent flexibility, ensuring it can be compressed and fit into complex, tight spaces without compromising its damping efficiency. It also provides high thermal insulation and contributes to overall vibration damping by decoupling interior panels from the car body.

Installation
